Instrumental Indie-Folk | Vol. 1 - An Acoustic/Chill Playlist
I've noticed that when I really need to think, I need to listen to instrumental music; otherwise I can get caught up in the lyrics. It's even conveniently titled "Instrumental Indie-Folk | Vol 1 - An Acoustic/Chill Playlist for study/relax/focus."
The phrase 'kill two birds with one stone' simply means solving two tasks at the same time or with one single action. God sent me this beautiful music to listen to when I'm stressed; in my quest for efficiency in my life -- why would I want to kill these birds??
Because we don't need to kill two birds in our quest for efficiency. We don't have to kill anything other than stupid decisions. Like me dealing with my alcoholism. God rolled that stone out of the way and said "wake up!" My wife also burst my eardrum with the divine Infinity Gauntlet when I was yelling at her one night drunk. I was hearing bells in cymbals for months! A doctor had to reassure me nothing was wrong at the treatment center. And guess what, he was right.
Only a few short months later, I woke up feeling compelled to quit drinking. So, I followed where I was led. And I was led to a family friend who I still haven't met in person. I've only spoken to him on the phone almost 4 years ago now. He is an amazing person! I should probably go meet him in person, right?
I pose this question... where has God moved his crosshairs in your life? Because once you tune into the signs, your life could transform forever.
All I'm trying to fulfill is our mission as Christians in this verse:
Isaiah 40:9 NIV
You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, βHere is your God!β
I can only pray people will listen.
